EARTH DAY INTERFAITH GATHERING

UNITE FOR ACTION ON CLIMATE

Wednesday, APRIL 22, 2015 at 10 a.m.

Join other Contra Costa clergy and lay leaders on Earth Day.

Network, share ideas, gain inspiration, and support each other.
Catalyze coordinated and effective actions to address climate change.

Activities will include:

  • Meditation by The Rev. Sally Bingham of Interfaith Power and Light

  • Small group sharing, discussion of the new Interfaith Climate Action Network (ICAN), and a closing ceremony with a tree planting

 A buffet lunch featuring local, seasonal, organic food will follow.

WHERE: Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1035 Carol Lane, Lafayette, CA

WHEN:  Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

WHO: Faith leaders, laity and all concerned about the climate crisis.

WHAT: The launch of a new local multi-faith response to Climate Change
