TONY GREEN – SUSTAINABLE PATH TO PEACE

November 12, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

tony green headshot 2ndSustainability as a path to peace:

How to prevent future wars over our  water supply

Only 3.5% of the world’s water is potable freshwater and less than .001% is available from rivers, lakes and streams.
Water is becoming scarcer as populations rise, and even more so as the Earth’s surface temperature  rises as a result of climate change.  The UN states that conflicts will occur over access to water.
Learn about innovative water technologies that may ensure peace by providing everyone with access to safe drinking water.
Tony works for Capture H2O which works with other companies that use large amounts of water in their processing.  The goal is to assist them in reducing their water footprints and in optimization of energy use, all while enabling them to be more sustainable.
The combination of his chemical engineering background and people skills has allowed Tony to work in a great variety of hi-tech and clean-tech projects.
