TONI ANTOINETTE JOHNS, Ph.D. – February 7, 2015 Mt. Diablo Peace and Justice Center held its 4th Annual Conference – Creating a Peaceful School. The event took place at College Park High School in Pleasant Hill. Attendees were treated to an early morning keynote address by the dynamic Toni Antoinette Johns, Ph.D. who answered the question, “How can we begin to utilize and respect different types of knowledge and styles of learning to inspire the learners of today so as to become the successful citizens of tomorrow?” One of the teachers commented on her presentation…” I very much enjoyed the keynote speaker.
