The Mount Diablo Peace and Justice Center has joined other peace organizations in endorsing a petition–sponsored by the Peace in Ukraine Coalition (PIUC) —calling for an urgent end to the war in Ukraine.
PIUC, through its partner Roots Action, is asking individual members sign the petition as well. You can find the petition here. The coalition intends to present it in Washington and publish it as an ad in a major newspaper.
In June 2022 the Peace Center proposed Principles of Unity, here, for ending the war in Ukraine. Unlike the PIUC petition, the principles emphasize opposing all U.S./NATO military assistance that extends the conflict, including satellite reconnaissance, trainers and advisors, weapons resupply, and economic sanctions.
