This special edition of the Peace Gazette features original contributions from our wonderful community, including members of our board! 2020 YEAR-END ISSUE – PEACE GAZETTE
As we wrap up an unprecedented year of uncertainty, stress, and anxiety – we are reminded of the incredible community we are fortunate to have surrounding us. Countless members have continued to support our work throughout the year with generous donations and monthly contributions. Many of you have also reached out in the past months to see how we are doing and offer kind words of encouragement. As we look to 2021, and slowly find ourselves getting more and more used to socially distanced living, we will need your presence and energy more than ever!
For now, please SAVE THE DATE for our Peace Awards Dinner, which will be taking place on January 26th @ 4:00PM via Zoom. We will be honoring TWO awardees, one in the category of “International Peace Hero” and the other in the category of “Local Peace Hero”, for their committed activism/peace work in those respective areas. The night will feature small group discussion, keynote speeches, and a special retrospective on the history of the Peace Center. More information will come shortly along with a special announcement of our winners!
