The Mt. Diablo Peace and Justice Center stands firmly in our principles of peace. Our vision since our founding in 1969, is a world community with peace, justice and freedom for all. We are a community of activists opposed to war and injustice in all its forms and the recent situation in Ukraine has been a frightening reminder of the threat that looms over us all. As we navigate this extraordinarily difficult, uncertain, and chaotic time in our history – it is necessary that we remain steadfast in our convictions. The unfolding and interlocking crises we are seeing in the wake of this warfare will continue and the impacts will ricochet – affecting the most vulnerable. The Peace Center is committed to standing firm as a vocal voice for peace in our community.
