The Mt. Diablo Peace and Justice Center is honored to serve as a co-sponsor for an upcoming event entitled, “From Pain to Purpose: Creating Communities of Safety and Belonging”, organized by the Miles Hall Foundation and NAMI Contra Costa. We are proud to stand with the organizers and members of these two extraordinary organizations as they work tirelessly to uplift marginalized voices and fight for real change in our communities. The event will feature keynote speaker Kevin Washington, PhD, and will be hosted by Miles’ mother, Taun Hall, along with Gigi Crowder from NAMI Contra Costa. The event will also include spoken word performances & breakout discussion rooms for participants.

We hope you join us at this event for an important dialogue and space intended for healing, understanding, and action.

The event will take place via ZOOM webinar on Saturday, February 27th from 1-3PM (PST).
